National Trails Day Event: Trailstock 2007 (ages 12 & older)
Germantown MetroPark, Old Mill Rd. (reached off Conservancy Rd.)
Celebrate the 15th Annual National Trails Day with Five Rivers Outdoors and the MetroParks Trail Committee by working on trails. Bring work gloves and loppers as we give back to our MetroParks and help build a new backpacking trail. From 9 - 9:15 a.m., check in, enjoy refreshments and mingle as you are assigned to a work party. At 9:15 a.m., we will hit the trails for some work and more fun. Also learn about trail design and maintenance. Reservations requested; walk-ins welcome: Call 277-4374. Meet at parking lot.
