"We are amazed at how our online store has connected us to a vast customer base outside of our geographic area," comments Dan Schlegel, co-owner. "Not only does it open our store to the entire North America continent, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it also allows us to take care of our local customers browsing through our "online catalog." Schlegel says that some local customers have moved away, yet still shop with the family-owned store. It helps level the playing field when competing with the huge chain stores.
"Where we excel is in our customer service and expertise - our entire staff use the products we sell and that passion comes through to the customer. Plus, most people are pleasantly surprised with our competitive prices," comments Andrew Schlegel, store manager. He adds "We ship a good portion of products to states that you would typically think of as 'outdoorsy' states - like Colorado and Utah, so it just makes sense for us to open our online store to Canada."
